While Ambassador Berkchani's stats are poor for his cost, he makes up for it with his excellent set of abilities, at least against Wrath. Dodge 3 gives him decent survivability against ranged, and Counterattack: Melee punishes any melee attackers.

Against Protectorate factions, he isn't terribly useful, but against Wrath factions (or Giants), he is fairly survivable and can output a fairly high amount of damage. You should watch the board, and when only one Wrath Giant is deployed it is mostly worth deploying Berkchani aswell, as the Hunter abilities stack.
