Welcome
Edit
Welcome to the PoxNora Wiki! This project is still getting started, so read on. (To create a new page, click here).
News
Edit
A few pages have been added to the [[Category:Commonly Posted|Commonly Posted] category. Each page in this category contains a "common knowledge" tip (unstated on the rune text).
Info for New Users
Edit
- Feel free to add onto the analysis section of current pages, or repost articles/guides from forums.
- On the top right, click "My Preferences" and select "Followed pages", I'd suggest unchecking all of the Basic and Advanced options on the page.
- To learn about wiki markup, check out a page's source code (Choose "Edit" or "View Source") or see About Wiki for a few examples.
Info for Returning Users
Edit
- Explore the wiki to see how pages have been imported.
- Red links are a good place to start with adding pages.
- To learn about more advanced wiki formatting, see the help (or wikipedia help), or ask someone.
General Info
Edit
- See current champion and spell runes for how they are formatted.
- You can add links to other pages (such as abilities like [[Rend]] 1)
- I'd advise not trying to format pages for runes by hand; it's too much work.
Available Templates
Edit
- Ability templates have categories built in. Type {{Passive ability}} or {{Active ability}} to use them.
- Also to access what pages link to the current page, type {{Links to|Unstoppable}} -- it produces What links to Unstoppable.
- Code for box templates are available at Box Templates
General Guidelines
Edit
Feel free:
Edit
- Edit other's pages: This is a wiki, so don't be afraid to add to pages you didn't make.
- Add links where appropriate: If you are talking about a rune, add a link for people who don't know it. Links also can connect articles on similar topics.
- Add articles: If you're feeling ambitious, adding an article about a theme or style of play is great. With enough, they can start referencing each other.
- Make small edits: Adding or fixing mistakes in pages helps keep things clean
Don't post:
Edit
- Anything biased: This includes obvious cases (the greens are not going to look here anyways) but also discussions.
- Rune power discussions: Obviously this may exist in some form, but a wiki is meant more for reference, not discussion by deletion.
- Recent news discussions: Keep discussions on recent LE leaks or Pox's future to the forums, not pages here
- Anything against forum rules: No one wants to see it here either
